Spyder vs Piranha
It seems everywhere I look everyone has a spyder (and a few tippmans here and there) I wanted to get something differant so I was looking at piranhas, is there a big differance as far as quality of guns between the two brands?

I own an electro Piranha as my backup gun and I love it. Out of tippmann, spyder and piranha I probably like Piranha the most because I ahve the the most experience with thme but I also have sued friends spyders and piranhas. So I would say any of the 3 are great guns to buy. Neither of the companies make a bad gun.

Around here, it's actually the opposite, piranha's are more popular and I'm different because I own a Spyder. Everyone has one around here because the field only sells them, so anybody buying locally has one. They work great. Just take good care of it.

I'd personally go with a pirahna. Why? I have shot both, and I liked the pirahna more. Neither one would be a bad choice though. Next time, post this in the gun comparision forum. I'm pretty sure there is already a post similar to this there.

Piranhas have less parts, and are a bit more reliabl them spyders (spyders have a couple more parts here and there.. Like the buffer for example. Omit it when you assemble your ugn and it wont work).

The Piranha EVO's have eyes which is one of the major things you want in a paintball gun, so I would say Piranha is better, but some Piranha's are a little...Bleh.

Fishies are the second best blowback i shot behind a working tessy. It's pretty ugly with it's blocky look but its actually really useful because it keeps all the junk out of the interals. It's really nice to strip since they use that block thing to hold it all in. Only thing I really didn't like about my old fishie was the trigger, but if i had gotten a rj trigger it prob would have been really nice. But i used that money for my cocker instead ;] But the img is fine too, the LED img seems pretty nice even tho its pretty much the same.

ive always liked piranhas more........ then again i own one
i think its more based on your personel preference
also what kind, electro or mech? I think spyders are better mech and piranhas kill the electro spyders, unless you have a rocking frame

well even the mech fishies have a shortened and lighter pull than the mech spyders.
