Tippmann ProCarbine vs. A-5

Ok, I’ve always loved pro carbines, but sometimes the ROF kills me when I’m in a firefight. Also it’s overall length kills me. I love them so much though, classic woodsball marker.

I am looking into getting another one, but the thought of maybe trying something new this time crossed my mind. I was wondering how the A-5 relates in performance and overall reliability to the Pro Carbine? I was not impressed with my model 98 at all. I thought it was a far cry from the Pro Carbine in everyway minus the faster ROF.

I am looking for someone that has used both markers and knows what I’m talking about. I do not want the input of new guys that have only owned an A-5 and just want to be fan boys and claim “omg it’s amazing!!!!111 it’s so fast I get 23 bps!!!!111”

Thanks,

- Brian

why not just try to custom install a r/t kit to the procarbine? Just a suggestion, i don't know tippmanns very well and had seen that it has been done.

Because i am looking to try something new, and something that is easier to dress up for scenario. I'm just asking around, seeing what people think. I might not even go with it, you never know.

Just because the A-5 is capable of 15 BPS doesn't mean you are going to be able to pull that fast with the stock trigger. Keep that in mind.
