I would say the g7 i don't like the feel of the trigger on the dm5.

i held a proto trix and didn't dig the trigger and grip as much (though it was still very sweet and well made) as i liked the angel speed.
So i'm going G7.
But both are equal in everything.

I have a g7 and I have shot proto's and dm4's and i like my g7 a heck of a lot better. WDP 4 Life

either way your getting an awsome marker. However, I'd go G7. They're a little easier to maintain and I would believe that the G7 isn't as much of an air hog. You'd really have to try them both out or something similar to them.
