ion or wgp 04 prostock

Ok now this a big choice between markers. I am going to be buying either an 04 prostock or an ion. Which is the better buy? I would be keeping the marker stock for a while. So which one should i go for.

if you plan on keeping it stock the prostock may be better... there are a few things on the ion you NEED to upgrade like the bottomline and the reg when you get it. with the prostock though, it will be fine when you get it, and all the stuff you can upgrade on it are just to max out your performance if you feel like it. also if youre buying used you could get the prostock for $100 less than the ion, or more. dont get me wrong, the ion is a good gun, and if its speed youre looking for the ion will win every time. but if you arent looking so much for 17 bps give the prostock a shot.

you do need a new bottomline, get rid of the duckbill, but the regs perfectly fine.

The ions regs are fine stock, sure they arent the best but they are good enough. Also, some people actually prefer the stock bottomline(duckbill) and for those who dont its a cheap and easy upgrade. I can't think of one advantage the cocker has over the ion.
the ion has less kick, is cheaper, is faster, is lighter, is more reliable, has eyes, and has better resale. go ion.

I've been using the Prostock for almost a year and upgrading during the way. I bought the cocker for the accuracy and boy was I happy I love the gun. I also just bought the ION after checking out that elec. trigger. I put on the most needed on/off valve and used the gun this weekend. I liked it more than I thought I would. The accuracy seemed pretty good but the gun can through some paint! Its also lighter weight.
