ok, i have a spyder xtra i am in the process of selling and im looking to get a tippmann. right now im looking at 3 options:

1. Tippmann 98 Custom PRO Basic- 98c with a dropforward and double trigger for 150$

2. Tippmann 98 Custom PRO E Basic- same as above with an ebolt, gets 5 different fire modes, 240$. also, not sure if ebolt is legal. also, ebolt is not easy to change settings on, major drawback.

3. tippmann A-5- standard a5, gets the cyclone feeder, upside is not needing to buy a hopper, but its doesnt much internal change from the 98c, and its expencive, 230$

im looking to spend around 300$ total on the gun and upgrades. im for sure getting a j&j ceramic barrel, as they are cheap and efective. also, depending on which gun i get, im looking at getting an x-chamber, hopper, and remote setup. im looking at getting the 1st gun, and having more money to get upgrades with, but id like some imput first.

Custom pro, but not with e-grip. IMO the e-grip isn't very good and still has some bugs to be worked out. But the custom pro comes stock with a werks barrel, double trigger, and drop, so it is a pretty good deal. And o yea e-grip is tourny legal, as long as it can be locked into semi-auto mode.

custom pro with e-bolt... i have a friend that has the e-grip and the e -bolt is similar but has more features

and if you do get it with e-bolt.... get a 60-70 dollar electonic feeder

it depends on the type of paintball u play if ur a speedball person honestly i wouldnt even go with a tippy but if u are hooked on it get an ebolt tippy so u can shoot as fast as possible other wise if ur a speedballer go for a ICD, or like an 03 or 04 cocker u can get all of thoes for under 300 with a hopper. but for woods ball go with a tippmann u wouldnt need a ebolt so just the pro basic.
