get a 68/4500 instead. Good barrel, pretty damn good gun. Save up for a halo B and a good reg when u have the chance. U should have fun w/ that.

hm...well i don't know exact prices in that range. Maybe a cp 2 piece, OR a j and j ceramic full tilt (yea, i've got one) it's a .688 bore and is totally ceramic. Very sick black, awesome porting and design, one of the sexist barrels imo. And it preforms well.

i think that for a barrel you should either get a SP teardrop/progressive or a J&J ceramic both are excellent and come in impulse threads. In terms of a loader either get a VL revolution, an egg or a reloader B.
The revvy is the slowest but is reliable, light, simple to clean, and cheap. The egg is a huge target and used to be brittle(though if you buy a new one this has been fixed), it can feed around 17bps with the z-board no matter what VL says(rated at 22 my ass). The reloader B is the god of loaders, its super fast and is a smaller target then the egg but has the smallest carrying capacity(150), eats up batteries, and is expensive.
IMO, either go with the revvy or the reloader B since if you buy the egg youll just be unsatisfied and want a reloader B.
edit: yes, while the revvy wont be able to feed as fast as the iion can shoot, it wont cause chops due to the ion's eyes.

if you allready have a reloader then get that, i just prefer the revvy because its cheaper, is the same speed, doesnt have a problem with black paint(which is the main reason for the reloader), and you dont have to scream into it like an idiot to get it empty it.

Get the J&J edge barrel kit. It is a little more than the $60 that you said you have to spend, but $10 isn't a lot more.
