do it. a barb leak is easy..it either requires loctite(cheaper than 5 bucks), or a new barb(2 or 3 bucks). do it.

most likely needs to be loctited. bob says not to use teflon on his gun.
also..the leak could be the noid..and it may just need cleaning.

hmm not a big fan of buying broken guns, if its leaking arund the solenoid he may have blown it. Timmy looks allright. If you're willing to take teh chance on its "problem" go for it.

you're looking at aronud 40 dollars or so for a new one.
+ if you can't install it, maintence fees.
just don't get yourself screwed, make sure ehe gives you xactness to the problems. When ig ot my bko it was leaking bad, and the guy said to just get a new bolt. Got the bolt and still had to send it in to vaporworks for a new noid, and it still isn't back yet.

for a new solenoid??? i thought solenoid's ran for like $120 a piece. i dont know about it. ask him to get it fixed first and then trade. its just a hassle (not too mention very frustrating) to have to drive all around asking who can fix it and for how much.

^well he's probably trading it for a lesser valued gun because its broken and if he wanted to fix it it would probably be fixed. idk...even if u have to buy a new solenoid i think its worth it

I'd say keep the ion......they you have complete assurance that your not gonna get screwed and lose a gun that you spent $285 on
