Ok, I have been paintballing numerous times in my life and own a tippman 98 custom ( oh yeah ). I quit the sport because of high cost but now have a good job that supports the hobby. I'm interested into several markers and would like some opions. (I'm getting into speedball )

Evil Omen $300
Smart Parts Ion $280
ACI Bling Rage with vision $300
Indian Creek Designs Bushmaster 2004 with PDS Paintball Gun $300

I'm also wondering if vision makes a huge difference. Is a $500 impulse without vision worse then smart parts ion with vision? Also how good are the

Go for the B2k4 w/ PDS....they're hott...have eyes...easier to clean...huge aftermarket...worth the extra 20 bucks over the Ion

And Impulses are big, heavy shoeboxes...

okay, for any higher end gun, u NEED HPA to run them. Which is $180-200 for a good tank. the b2k4 is a good gun, the wrath and ion are vicious rivals and each good deals (though expect some lower quality then more expensive models). The omen is just sadly not worth it, too much kick due to design.

A halo B or reloader B would also be a excellent buy. These hoppers are quick, and it's nice to know u have the fastest hopper money can buy. Go ahead and buy used (sniper is selling one for $80)

imps w/ out vision just arn't worth the money. The ion has effectivly replaced the imp like smartparts intended. Smaller, better eyes, cheaper.

id say go with either the ion or the b2k4 they are both great guns for tha price
but u also have to remember what bobide said, you have to spend extra money on a hpa tank and a hopper that will feed the gun u get.

The b2k4, Ion, and Wrath would all be good choices. I would see if you could get your hands on them to see which one you like the feel of best, and decide after that.
