**** this. Need a RELIABLE gun.
allright well i guess first you can hear my story...
i've always had reliability problems. almost everytime i go to the field, my gun, w/e it is at the time, breaks.
first it was 2 aci sinsiters... crappy spyders, no problem. then a t.e.s, which are now notorious for breaking.... so now i've got a bko.
sent it in for 4 months at vaporworks, just got back, go to the field today, air it up and its not getting gas through it. wtf!?
take it up to the shop, let my store owner (certified tech) and a couple other guys look at it, all have no ****ing clue.
I'd say i am just the suxor at taking care of guns, but this is just random bs. my problems are ALWAYS just random ****. so basically, im sellin out. sellin all my old ****, probabbly won't get **** for em, but oh well... gonna get rid of all of it, and save up for a new gun.
the next gun i get is gonna be bnib WITH a warranty card for this gay ****. let the gun techs at dye,sp, w/e take care of it.
so basically, sorry if you read my rant there, but i want a RELIABLE gun. something i can air up, and be ready to go. needs some maintenece maybe, but is overall simple, yet fast, and tourney ready. I'm not too picky, not even into the tourney scene yet, which i wanted to get in like a year ago (gun problems/$$ problems holdin me back), but i do want something nice/upgradeable, but not super expensive.
leaning towards a proto, or if possible, a new dm4...
other guns in the area would be shocker,d2,timmies, stuff in that price range.
pbf, help me out.
tldr: i need a reliable gun. ideas?

Try a Tippmann. I have a Model 98 Custom and I haven't had a problem with it since i bought it. *except for stripping the valve threads* It is upgradable to an extreme extent, and is very durable. It can be hart to disassemble and reassemble sometimes, but other than that it is a good marker.

proto all the way...i have never had problems w/ mine......AND it comes w/ a warranty my shocker wasn't very reliable, it would mess up and i would be wasting an hour of play fixing it....if something does go wrong w/ a proto it is very easy to fix. Everything that is needed to propel the paintball forward is all together and u just slide it out the back of the gun. It is easy to clean and they look good too
