Tippmann Model 98 vs 98 custom

Hey everybody I'm new to paintball and I've got a friend who is willing to sell me his Tippmann 98 for $90 in good condition. I'm just wondering does the 98 not have as many ways to customize it as the 98 custom?

Er..kinda funny one has custom in it and the other one doesnt what a stupid question.

So basically what I mean is does the 98 have a significantly lower amount of customizations then the 98 custom?

Yeah, the 98 custom is pre-drilled for things like the r/t and such. If you will be upgrading the gun a lot then a custom isn't a bad idea. But if you are just going to add minor things like a barrel and a hopper a model 98 is fine.

Yea like I said im new to the whole paintball scene so my friends suggest just to get a barrell upgrade and I should be ok.

I think I'm going to go with the 98 just because being that this is my first gun I won't do major upgrades.

Oh, and I get a discounted price
