this is like asking whats better, a timmy or a shocker...its all personal preference.

if i was going to buy a gun in that range though, i wouldnt buy either. Id get a used 2k2 timmy or old school trix.

ION cuz wrath is a blowback + the company is in eurpoe which = bad customer support also smart parts is a better company and more reliable all around and new boards for the ion coming out wich will destroy and wrath im sure

Shut up, just shut up and get out of this forum. The wrath is not a blowback and diablo can be reached by us citizens as easily as smart parts or easier. There are already two boards out for the wrath and scenario dreams is releasing a Ultra Chip for the wrath (very soon) which has nitro, psp, nppl, ramping, everything.

As Shootemup said, the wrath is, in no way, a blowback. A wrath operates EXACTLY like a BKO. And if you think a BKO is a blowback, then there is something seriously wrong with you. That said, out of the box, the Ion is going to be easier to extract more from it. While the Wrath might have higher theoretical rof stock, the ramping on the ion will mean that most people are able to shoot faster. Also, there are more aftermarket products fro the ion for customization.
That said, if you're not big into customizing your gun, and jut want something you can stick a barrel on and go play, the Wrath being cheaper, field strippable, and of slightly higher quality goes a long way.

wrath felt pretty good in hand but the Ion is sexyer. and wrath has gay looking grips. Personally i would trust SMart Parts over Diablo.

ok, so i got to the field with my new ion, egg and air tank. i gas it up, but it takes a wile for the velosity to go down. i could hear a leak but it wasnt to bad. this gun is FAST. i could comtrol the fields ina i shot 14 people in all, only getting shot twice. this gun gets a 8/10.

i keep seeing wrath owners who've moved on (either to promaster, ion, or something else) comment on how much slower their wrath was in comparision.

I voted wrath... anyone wanna guess why?

While i havent shot an Ion my wrath suits me very nicely. It hasn't broken on me at all, the recharge on the stock reg is very fast, and the gun will keep up with 18bps on the ramping chip. While the Ion does have new boards coming out (Pred, and Blackheart) The wrath also has a new board coming out along with the BD5+ board, its called the Un1 board, and it will allow wrath users to use Matrix chips in the gun and have it function, i think this will be a very good addition to the gun, but will probably not make it very cost effictive. Unless you Love your wrath. (and i do Love mine) i am definetly not gonna drop 40$ on the board, and another 80 for a chip (virtue)
