OK, well i've been playin paintball for around 3 years. i've had an icon e, and a TES. im 14,lol

and now i want to upgrade to a more tournament reliable gun.

Im tryin to find a fast gun for the best price. here's my thoughts:
Impulse-well, idk how fast they really shoot...are they faster and better than ions?
Ion-cheaper than impulse, i think little bit slower.

i've also looked through b2k4's, but i don't want one now cuz icd isn't making them anymore, so i don't wanna deal with that.

PLZ help me choose the faster and more reliable one of these two!!

can you give me some more info on each gun??

I havent shot an ion but It looks like a nice gun right off the bat. Impulses suck until you throw some money into them. For starters Impys need some sort of a vision system. I personally love my WAS board. Then you need either a tapeworm or a LPR. Stock trigger on an impulse sucks too. So you figure $425 for an impulse $25 for a trigger like $20 for a worm and then$150 for a some sort of vision board and thats a lot of friggen money. The Ion is good gun stock for only $300. They didnt have Ions when I got my impy so I tossed the money at my Impy and it rips and never chops. I think I want a barrel kit and a vertical maxi next.

For the most part I agree with Smitty, other than the fact that I despise Imps regardless of HOW much money is put into them. Ion any day.

ions=plastic..i own a imp nd a dm4 and my bortha has a ion..i outshoot him cauz im gangster..go wit imp

hey screw the vertical maxi get a cp regulator.

but honestly don't buy a imp unless you personally like em and want a gun to upgrade and kinda make custom( especially with that big brick body) every time i see one i think of all the things i could mill out. ion= same company name, BREAK beam eyes stock and ramping. and a heck of alot lighter and cheaper.

and the ion is not plastic at all, what so every, the impulse looks like a brick and it has very high profile

alright thanX guys...i might go with ion since it's cheaper. i also might get the new blackheart board...not sure yet. i might just buy it all new or used...or if i can get a used WAS'd imp i might get it...

if you get a board upgrade get Pred NOT black hearts it's not worth 100 bux over stock board, 3 bps and 2 new ramp modes WHIPPITY DOO.
