flatlines....suck IMO. ya the ball goes farther, but they are not accurate.

I would take the imagine, just cause he spent 200 dollars more and its not the much better, but its still better.

no get a revy. you can find them used in teh B/S/T forum for $30-$45
There's no need to get a halo unless it's got a rip drive in it. (and you won't need that for a spyder unless you t-board it)

Iagreee with you. you are saving money and I think buying a spyder over a tippman is a smart idea unless you dont' know and dont' care to know anything about taking care of paintball markers. spyders require a small amount on mantience(oil..that's about it), they shoot faster out of the box, are smaller and are just as reliable.

You will be at a disavantage until you put a 12V Revvie on there (I actually like Reloader2's better) and a good barrel like a tear drop or a progressive.

yeah..ill sell you a 16" progressive for cheap too..even comes with a paintballforum.com sticker so you can represent..and martix, if you buy a revvie for 30-45 dollars, you're just plain stupid. you can buy them almost always under 30. eggs go for cheaper than 45 dollars fairly regularly

essentially all you need is a faster loader and a barrel. if you want throw in some grips and a clamping feedneck. either way, you are saving alot more money than your brother. eventually if he ever gets into speedball or just gets tired of his a-5 he will realized he wasted too much money on that flatline and e-grip

i like the imagine cause it looks cool and is able to work with compressed air found a nice package at http://paintballerz.com/Scripts/prod...p?idproduct=81
for a Spyder Imagine with goggles hopper ect. but would i have to change anything to add the 3000psi compressed air container to the imagine? i heard somewhere that the springs need to be changed or the O-rings or something of that nature to switch to compressed air...

and P.S
I just started playing on 11/6 so im new to PB
