DM5 or Ego
Yes, Alpha's going high end- finally.
I can get either one of them 2-300 cheaper then you'd see them at their lowest.
I'm kinda leaning towards the DM, but egos are nice too...
I've shot both, and I like the way the DM5 shoots better... I've never used one in a game...

Ego

My friend has a Dm4 not exactly sure what the difference from the dm4 and the dm5 are but, i love how that shoots it is sooooooo quiet and smooth. And the other day i was watching a tournament at the local field. To people where using ego's the where a bit louder but the where small and mowing faces. I have never heald an ego just seen them shoot but from what i hear they are amazing.
I'd lean a bit more towards an ego but the dm5 is right behind it.

The boards are totally different from an E2... only thing it really shares is the grips and thats only on the first gen Ego's
I'd say Ego, the new '06s seem nice, or mm a Nexus :P Smaller, Lighter, more efficient than a DM5 definatly, as for louder.. I never liked the puff puff sound of a matrix anyway (yeah totally subjective :P)
No consideration for an E/X or Devil Mag? What kinda Mag Devotee are you =P

I'll only get an e-mag if they get rid of the battery pack and I can keep my chimera. Devilmags are toolong a wait and too expensive.
I've already done mags, I know them inside and out, now its time for me to move on. I want to learn more about different markers. Chances are, I'll be trading the DM5 in a few months anyways if I dont like it a lot.

I have owned both. Both are awesome guns. I prefer the Ego. Get the one you like the feel of the most.

Get the DM5, if you want something new after a while you can trade it.

Get the Ego. You can get one BNIB for like 9, 8 if you find a deal.
They're smaller, lighter, more efficient and IMO have a way better trig.

I like how the DM5 shoots better.
Ego is lighter and shiznit.
I'd probably go Ego because I've been shooting a DM for a while now.
