well they're both really good guns, haven't shot a karni (held one), shot a proto. Do what u want because it doesn't matter what ppl say because the anwser's u get are all on opinion and doesn't lead you 2 a clear choice, it will be alot of votes for each side.

If you know how to maintane a cocker really well then go with the karni, if u don't know jack-**** about cockers i suggest stick with ur proto.

#1. ive shot them both. i <3 them both. but unfortunately, i cant own both.

#2. headaches? notta problem. your talkin to a tech here and if i cant fix it, i know many who can.

#3. i play front, have a very aggressive style of play, and have slow fingers. go from there.

why in gods name would you go w/ a cocker for a front player?

2 words. BACK-BLOCK. That thing moving back and forth takes away how close u can play to the marker. Though it is only your face. . .

I used to regularly play front with a cocker before I became too fat and old to do so. The backblock isn't a problem if you have a beavertail. And with a fairly small and light cocker like a karni, I'd take that over a proto. But like linkinparkfrk26 said, it's all preference, they're both great.

i have grown used to the back blocks. if i got this, it would be like my 5th yet.

and if you look at how far it actually comes from the back block, about half an inch or so. real small.

dude, it's not giant seriously, you can use any gun playing front, some people like smaller more campact guns, some like bigger. The karni isn't some giant brick either.

i would have to say proto just bc i happen to own one and it rips...

just throw in a new board and you wil be ripping at 23 bps w/o chopping a single ball

they are extremely light and compact...

Meh, my friend Dave traded his Karni for a proto 05. He <3's the proto more, he said the cocker even though it had an internal cocking system, it didn't stop the backblock from commin back and smackin him. Even with a beavertail it still keeps you further away from the gun.
