so im looking at getting a trilogy comp. gun with a 14" teardrop and a 20oz tank with on/off valve.
this is approx $325 at xpaintball

can anyone tell me of any other set up similar or better for around the same price?
that would be wonderful if you could

He couldn't afford a promaster and the hpa tank for only $350.
IF you can find one, Used Ion/B2K pds + 68/4500 hpa and deal with the stock barrel. SIGNIFICANLTY faster, eyes so they won't chop, just better overall guns than a trilly.
If not, Wrath + J&J Edge + 20 oz. co2. Same ~ price as the trilogy, SIGNIFICANTLY faster, can still run co2, won't break since it has eyes.

That's true he needs HPA.

Get a wrath, they can/will run on co2. But if you can find a deal with a ion/b2k4/RPM with HPA. Go for it.

make sure that if you do get CO2 and the wrath, anti-siphon the CO2 tank. This will make your gun more consistent and will reduce the damage done to the gun by CO2
