If you plan on playing speedball at all, then go for the Evo. You can just wrap it in camo cloth when you play in the woods.

I think the Evo is better. Had an A-5.. Didn't like it. Evo has a reg and eyes. But for the $$ you might want to consider an Ion. But only if you're going to get HPA. The Evo is a good choice. Everyone says the barrel is decent. Has a reg, has eyes. PMI supposedly has excellent support. Can shoot C02, (summer only, winter HPA is a must).

Ok, well I was in your place a about 2 years ago, I was deciding between the same two guns. Like the guys above stated the Evo will be much better in speedball, and its only weakness to the A-5 in the woods is its color.
This being said, I went with the A-5, I really don't like fixing guns. The A-5 is much more reliable, never left me hanging. Just 2 weeks ago some of my friends with electro guns spent 2 hours getting them to work. I'm not kidding 2 hours, myself and all my other mech owning friends were standing around waiting for them...
So in the end its up to you, I played speedball with my A-5, and it didn't hinder me too bad. And I never had a problem with it, I put paint in the hopper, air on the gun and went out and played. Thats just the way I like it, but for some having the speedball friendly setup is nice, but you will have to fix it more.
In the end the choice is yours to make.

I have a Piranha and an A-5. I'd take the A-5.

If you keep it cleaned and lubed there should be no reason to have to fix it anymore than a Tippman.
The only way I'd say go woth the Tippman is if you plan on playing 99% woods/scenario. The only weakness the Evo has to the Tippy is that the Tippman will stand up to being dropped/booted around more. Be careful not to trip and be careful on your dives and that won't be a problem.

If you plan on playing speedball go with the evo, however if your going to be playing outdoors in large areas, id go with the A-5, hasnt let me down and works perfect.
