if you're newer to the sport i'd suggest getting an ION, and using the rest of the money for HPA, a good hopper, a good mask, and then other upgrades for the gun. it's easier than other high end guns to take care of, it's fairly quick out of the box, and it's a good learning gun..

I would go with a b2k4 with Hpa and a halo hopper. Right now the b2k4s are going for 200 nib or something like that. Hpa depending on what brand and size range from 80 to about 220. A halo is about 100 to 120 depending on where you are getting it from. So you could get some nice stuff for 400. A ion is also a good gun but your not going to have enough cash if you want hpa and a hopper.

b2k4 with pds is only like 200 now a days and besides every new player is getting ions, indian creek is a real reliable brand and you can find some cheap deals on the b/s/t's here on pbf. btw welcome to the forums

Well even though the new players are getting the Ions doesnt mean it is a bad gun I have been playing paintball for a year now and I use a Ion and its a great speedball gun.
