Get the 98, JT's aren't very durable, Tippmanns are durable and a lot better than the Tac-5

Durable means they will last long and won't break easy. The 98 has way more upgrades for it and is also a better product over all. JT hasn't kept there rep in there guns at all. I have seen so many of them go down.

Is hard to beat the value you get for 120 with the tippy.

Checkin sum reviews and well:
http://www.pbreview.com/products/rev...pdesc=1&page=2
Every review for the Tac5 gets 9/10 or 10/10 with the occasional 7/10.
Some reviews say its a very durable gun and many say it's better than the Tippman 98??
Well, what do you make of this, these guys all have owned the gun.
Do they know what they are talking about?
Comments pls. Still deciding...

i dont care what anyone says. get the 98 custom ore maybe even go for the custom pro. i have a tac-5 and a 98c and the tac-5 is the worst gun i have used(out of 98c, diablo sabotage, tac-5, VL triad, and another spyder clone). the tac-5 lets you upgrade the the barrel, maybe grips, and the hopper AND THATS IT! the asa it wierd screw patterns, the gas line is special made for the tac-5, you cant add a regulator or expansion chamber, the trigger is unupgradeable, etc. the performance is worse. it started out ok, but then it chopped due to a grav hopper. then i had to takeit apart. it takes longer and is hardr to do than a 98c. then the velocity screw moved inside the valve and i cant adjust the velocity. it is stuck atlike 170fps. it also chops for no reason too.
i hope this helps. i wrote more once, but i think it was on pbn. you can search for it if you want.
just trustme and dont get a tac-5. get any other gun. even a VL.

Ok thanks,
What about performance wise, and not upgrading? Is it a really bad performer?

Definitely the 98c. It owns the Tac-5 in every section. I have heard HORRIBLE things about the Tac-5.
