Ion is the best gun for 190
SOme palces have it for 175.
Just get a new feedneck and youll be good for tourneys
If you don't want to spend 200 then you cant really get a tourney entry level gun

well what about the barrel? cuz i'm getting the ion=$200+ hopper=60-100=260-300 so 300 dollars 4 the gun plus feed neck=30 so 330. leaving like no money 4 the barrel. do i realy need a feed neck and if i do should i forget the barrel?

dont get an egg. and a revvy would probably be too slow for you since the ion comes with ramping stock. get a halo b/empire b/vlocity.

the ceramic is a nice barrel, but not one of the best. ul's are going for about $50 used on pbn. id just hop on one of those. maybe a lucky.

ions and bushys are the best guns for under $200. pick up one of those. personal preference leads me to the bushy more than the ion. but yours might lead you to the ion, try using both before deciding which you want.

Tippman 98 C with E-grip. $199 at the village. Very dependable. Runs on C02, comes with the new WAS board in it. Board is capable of 30 bps, gun is capable of 17, with upgrades you could get more out of it.

Speedball bud. Get a Ion or a Promaster. Used Promaster would be best for your price.

Spyders are blowbacks. Ions are blowforwards (kind of a wierd variation of the spool valve). Thus... using co2 will affect your rof quite a bit.

If you used anti-siphoned co2, you could probably get away with 15bps in bursts, but sustained, it will freeze up, and probably destroy some o-rings.

I wasn't comparing spyders to Ions at all. All i'm saying is that I've see people run there spyder guns at about 20bps on C02 and didn't have it frezze up.
