Used stock 05 Dynasty shocker vs. New 06 Interceptor.

I'm currently leaning strongly towards the interceptor, but I was just wondering if anyone had some compelling arguements for the Dynasty.

I <3 the looks of the dynasty's but I don't know anything about the interceptor besides I don't like how it looks.

The 06 Alien Interceptor is the better marker. The Alien Interceptor has been proven to be more accurate than other markers. It uses the Sweep System (bolt & valve) which allows for a better flow of air through the marker. This in turn, leads to more force behind the shot and less curving of the paintballs.

I already know all about the aliens and the "sweep technology".

More force would lead to the ball traveling faster, not more accurately. The Sweep valve and bolt doesn't shoot the ball any harder... it just puts backspin on the ball.

I'm not looking for arguements for the Alien... I'm already biased towards it as I stated in my first post. I'm looking for arguements against the Alien, and/or arguements for the Dynasty.

he means that the dynasty will get way worse efficency(sp) then the alien, and that you dont want to have to fill up your tank aftre every game

hmm yes. See as i typed that it made sense. B/c i knew wtf i was talking about. Apparently it wasn't as obvious as i had assumed.

i'd go dynasty. i've never played with an alien, but i loved playing with the dynasty shocker.

I asked for arguements. Saying you don't like how the Alien looks does not count as an arguement.

k then.
the dynadsty is nice cause all the stores carry them. that means more ups available and they know how to fix them better. like i said, i loved how the dynasty felt when i played with it and theres more and more ups coming out. the dynasty looks way better to. what it doesn't have is good air efficiancy (sp) and i have seen more accurate guns out there too.

Interesting arguement. Much better.

Still doesn't convince me though, because:

1) I live ine Massachusets, where Aliens are becoming quite popular (New England Hurricanes) so there is plenty of support, and Jack Rice, the owner of Alien Paintball has superb customer service.

2) I don't care about ups with the Alien, they have everything that I could want stock, except possibly a barrel...

3) Ergonomics is all personal opinion. I've held both guns, and both feel good to me.

4) Performance is far more important to me than looks, and I happen to like how the Aliens look anyways.

Thank you for taking the time to actually put forth a real arguement though, most people wouldn't do that.

just get a regular shocker the dyansty and the alien are way to over crowded as far milling design goes and it just ruins it for me
