i looked at both guns but not quite sure which one to go for,
the Kingman Electra looks sick and got that new rocking trigger but hear a lot of good things bout the ION but it needs a new regulator?, so which do you guys think is a better choice?

dude, i would never buy an electra. if your gonna get a spyder, get an imagine. but then again, dont buy a spyder in the first place. ion if you can afford it. but you absolutely need HPA (compressed air) and a nice electric hopper. at least an eggy II (revolution 2 made by viewloader), or better (either reloader b, halo b, or vlocity). both hopper and air cost a lot (more than the gun itself depending), so just think about it.
with the ion's board, you wont need anything faster than a eggy smallerthanlife....so save some money, get an eggy, then go get a hpa tank. 68/4500 works well for me

ion is better because it has eyes (unless your looking at the electra with eyes) but still the ion has better eyes. The electra is faster (or so kingman says) but a lot of tourny's dont allow the rocking trigger in tourny's. The ion is more reliable as a gun and doesnt chop as much as a kingman. The ion is also a lot more upgradable than the electra
what you need is
ion w/ halo and 68/3k tank and a decent mask
well....the main reason the ion wins here is that first off..it is faster. just because kingman claims it can shoot 30 bps doesnt mean it actually can. an electra is a blowback (meaning that you'll get much more kick than an ion), decreasing speed and accuracy (hard to hold the gun still w/ high rof). the rocking trigger is just dumb, and illegal. plus, spyders just suck, and if you get it, you'll end up wanted to get rid of it sooner or later. also, i dont like the feel of spyders..theyre too long. and, as earlier stated, not as many ups for a spyder (not that you'd want to up a low end gun anyway). ions also have much much better resale (anyone who bought it before the price drop, not as much obviously). lets see...what else...thats all i have for now. oh yeah, and its probably lighter and more effecient, and it comes with a regulator (something the electra doesnt have), and the stock setup is probably more accurate (due to it being electropneumatic(sp?), and having a reg, maybe a better barrel, depending on the paint...etc).
ion is $200 on the village and the electra is $200 on the village. so buy the ion the same price for the electra but the electra is a spyder and spyders suck. trust me! so get the ion!
