A1 or RL Shocker?
Everyone on PbN was a *****, about me creating a topic that wasn't really even a VS. thread, but turned into one due to a few ignorant posters.
Which should I get? I currently have an Angel G7 that I will sell closer to my birthday (November 8th) when I will be getting additional money as presents, making it easier to buy one.
Please don't take the looks of the Russian Legion Shocker into consideration, as I personally love it.
Keep in mind the RL shocker is cheaper new, and I am always for saving money.
Thanks for any answers and additional help.

A1 Angel IMO. Better trigger, WDP quality, efficiency, I think it's lighter... and Angels have some of the sickest triggers around.
-edit- I just realized I mentioned the trigger twice... just goes to show how much I love their triggers

Thanks for the input guys....Honestly, I'm leaning towards the RL Shocker, for customization, along with performance and sexy looks....
But if you disagree, please share why with good opinions, as Dark Tamer did.

Honestly, I dont think you can do much externally with the RL shocker. If you even attempt to switch out the reg or ANYTHING you'll ruin the whole look... the only thing you'd have to change are the grips. I'd go for the A1, sick looking, awesome guns all around, and like Darktamer said, awesome triggers.

oh man, you shouldn't even have to be asking this question. A1 hands down. Thier triggers are sick, and thier scroll wheel and stock board are unbeatable. you'll never need to upgrade thing thing...for at least a year (but probally never)

Well, just to clear something up, I wouldn't want to modify the external parts...I love the look....Maybe some interals...
Thanks for the input guys...Some questions:
Which is easier to maintain?
Which has higher resale value?
Which is easier to install aftermarket parts without store help? (as in, easy to take apart)
Thanks for now.

Angels have good resale from what I know... my guess would be the shocker is easier to maintain but honestly I have no clue.
The angel a1 is supposed to be very easy to install parts/disassemble

i say angel 1. lighter (i think), smaller, not everyone has one, efficiency, and its backed by a great company. i also have a little hate for smart parts though so take that into consideration.

Well, I'm not one of those "Smart Partz is da h4XX0rz!" types of people. (I'm not good with 1337 speak...was something being da haxxorz good?)
And I talked to a friend from the local proshop online, and he said in mid November they will be having an all-Smart Parts sale....They don't even carry A1's so I'd have to order that online....Would a RL Shocker be that much of a downgrade, or should I just save up the extra $250 or so and get an A1 off AVI or some site like that? (Keep in mind that $250 could just about buy me a Freak Kit and Virtue board for the Shocker)
As a noted plus, not that anyone here cares, my friends and I always randomly pop out the Shocker:
In public for humour.
Not to sound like I'd rather have the Shocker or anything, but much more facts have been presented about the A1, so I'm curious about the RL Shocker.

On Angels you must oil the ram, and lube the HPR and LPR. I do not know how easy it is to access the ram.
On the shocker you must lube the entire bolt assembly, and the HPR. The bolt assembly isn't hard to access but then you have to take it apart as well.
As for resale, they're both so new it's rather hard to tell, but angels traditionally have had higher resale, it will probably be that way with this angel too.
As for aftermarket parts, well the A1 doesn't need any. I'm not sure there even any available for it at this point, besides the feedneck and barrel. For the shocker, you could upgrade the bolt, but I think it comes with the HE bolt so that would be pointless. You could probably upgrade the board (I'm not sure if they have shocker boards that funcion with break beams yet), but that's rather tricky as the electronic internals of shockers have traditionally been very, very fragile and break super easily.
In a nutshell, neither have many aftermarket parts available and don't really need any new parts.

Well, I may be leaning towards the A1 now...It might just all come down to who has what in stock when I actually get the money.
Also, everyone, how would these guns compare to, say, a DM6? Feel free to add any guns into the mix here.

id go RL shocker for these reasons:
-Come stock with freak
-Come stock with breakbeam
-Ramping board (no modes)
-Lightweight
-Killer design
-Great parts
-Great company (IMO)
shockers are very easy to maintain as well.
RL Shocker> A1

Ok. Taken into consideration, thanks...
Ok everyone, let me just put this out there....World Cup is November 7th-12th (I believe it ends) and my birthday is the 8th....How well would a DM7 compare to these guns? (Obviously not much has been released yet, but from what we know....Also, how much will the DM7 supposedly be?)

A1 all the way. They're just so small and nice, I'd take it over a RL shocker any day, plus all angel triggers are secks.

way too much.
id go with shocker, but thats the only gun ive owned really, and i know them in and out. they are pretty good guns. angels require alot of attention, well, more than shockers really.

Hmm...Wow, this decision is so tough for me...As of now, I'm leaning towards getting an A1 for my birthday and then getting some money towards an RL Shocker for Christmas, and if one is clearly better than the other to me, I'll sell one...
Maybe, we'll see some other people's opinions on the subject.
All of the help so far has been greatly appreciated.

DM7 will probably be around $1100-1400 when they first come out... most likely however much the DM6 was when it first came, I came remember how much that was.
As for comparison, it's hard to tell since no one actually knows anything about it yet. It's almost certain though that it will be essentially a DM6 except lighter and smaller.
