the dm6 eyes suck i know that. my friend drilled his to fit dm5 eyes he said if i get 1 he will do it for me. but since the dm7 is not much better then a dm6 il probably go for the ego

Honestly, there's not much performance difference. The matrix will probably be just a little more accurate and the Ego will be slightly faster and lighter. The new Egos are extremely light, but with a UL frame, so are the Matrixes. Shoot them both if you can first, but if not, it's a toss-up. They're both around the same price for a reason.
