The PMR is quickly becoming the new Ion, in that you can get rid of all it's cheap stock parts for aftermarket ones, so they will be both be pretty customizeable, as of right now the Ion is more but it's also been out a lot longer.

Yeah, although it'll never quite reach the Ions level since it's not as cheap. Although I'd rather get a rail than an Ion. I've always liked the matrices.

Well yea, the Ion is almost entirly of cheap upgradable parts, while the PMR has some decent parts on it.

In the $400 price range be sure and check out the Dangerous Power Fusion. Awesome marker that needs NOTHING out of the box. I demo'ed one the other day and it tore up the field. It's all metal, has any upgrade you'd add already included and the thing shoots great. If I didn't already have my money tied up in two other high end markers, I'd have a Fusion right now.
