VS1 or Pilot ACS
I can have both for the same price. My heart is dancing between both of them.
Pilot ACS :
Look better (my opinion)
Got a drop forward (I think it's important to get the gun better balanced)
VS1 :
Has eyes (Which is better than the ACS bolt)
Both are capped to 20 bps.
Here's the rules : plz don't say things like "buy an Ion, it's alot better". My choice is fixed : it will be one of thoses guns. Plz bring some CONSTRUCTIVE point of view and do not judge my choices, I had spyders in the past, I'm a rec player and I love thoses guns.
According to me, the Pilot looks better than the VS1, but that's my point. Also, if you tried one of thoses, plz tell me !
So what do you think ?

VS1. The VS series is the new (and better) breed of spyders. They operate at a lower psi i beleive. The Eyes are 50,000,000,000 times better than the ACS too. The drop is all personall preference too. I dont use one, and pretty much every serious player doesnt use one unless you have been playing for 10 years. Drops were all the rage a while ago but now people realize that it makes the gun sit higher which makes you more vulnerable to hopper shots. So, dont get a drop. But you dont have to worry about drops really cause the VS1 is a better gun.

yep, vs1, pretty much everything evolkers said, and mostly because of eyes, they are very important and will make your life happier.

why not a vs2? I'd spring the extra cash for a vs2 b/c it will shoot nicer.
i only say this b/c i don't think the vs1 has the balanced valve.

yea get a Vs2 if ya can. Just noticed that. The vs1 doesn't have the balanced valve which is the most improvement to the spyders in a long time. Good luck man.

i actually agree with these guys, but you said your mind was set on just those, but since it's already out there, that would be a good idea.

I beleive the VS1 is meant to run on CO2 while the VS2 is meant to run on compressed air. Now i have seen people run CO2 on VS2's but im not sure the effects of it yet so to be safe you may want to stick with the VS1 if your going to be using CO2.

^^Yup that's why I did put the VS2 in my choices. I read alot of bad things happening to thoses who try the VS2 on Co2...
BTW thx for all your answers... I'll take time to think about my final choice cauz I found a nice bargain on the Pilot on actionvillage... It is 40 $ cheaper than the Vs1, which pay a part of a e-hopper... That deserve reflexion...

Is it worth the extra 40 $ ? I'm on a budget and that could be a point... Cauz I tried the ACS Bolt (actually I got the same as in the Pilot) and it works very well.

The ACS bolt can be really hit or miss. I've seen them snap in half before (as you will pry read in another thread) and i have seen them be nothing but wonderfull. I personally think they are worth the money. If they werent wouldnt EGOs and DMs be using ACS bolts?
