Shocker Vs. PM6

The shocker vs the PM6 or PM7, basically the PM'S. Which one is overall better, price doesn't matter. Looking for the better of em considering efficiency, speed, weight, easy to keep clean, able to keep up with higher end guns. etc. stuff like that. Any opinions?

Easily the PMs. They shoot smooth (so do shockers but they dont feel as nice) and the PMs have nicer triggers. I like DYE/Proto more than Smart Parts too. The Protos have slightly better gas efficiency and the weight is similar i beleive but the protos just feel better and more luxurious like it is something you should pay for. The PM metal/anodizing is so much better too.

We've talked over aim extensively on this. I still say PM6/7. You know my reasons.

I reccommend if you get a shocker, get the NXT.

The older SFTs(04-06) are still nice and will shoot every bit as good as the NXT. The difference is Break beam eyes on the NXT and the HE bolt pre installed. With the HE bolt kit in a shocker, it will get about the same efficiency as a stock PM. So stock the NXT and PM6/7 will be about the same.

As for feel, that is all personally up to you. Hold em both and decide for yourself. Maintenance will be about the same, cleaning all orings and relube them after each day of play and you will be fine. You can stretch it out even further if you wanted.

The Pms seem to hold a little more in resale value, and cosmetically do look nicer IMO. Also it should be mentioned the PMs have a LPR on the gun that controls the bolt operation pressure. This seems to give it a little less kick than the Shocker.

Over all the all cost about 725 new( NXT and PM7) go shoot em and make your own choice

Definitely would personally go with the PM7.
