Tac-one v Pump

Ok I've been planning on getting a paintball gun that is less then 1,000 dollars. I was wondering if I should get a tac-one or a phantom pump. I have a hard time deciding on which gun to get because I don't know much about the tac-one. I know that a phantom is a very nice and reliable gun, but are there any other pumps out there that is better? Also I was wondering what is a tac-one? It's a automag right? But what exactly is a automag. I'm open for suggestions I like guns like pump or guns that don't eat paint as much, I prefer pumps or guns similar to it.

Phantoms are great pumps and have been around for ages with little change.

Another good pump is the Sniper 2. These were later developed into Autocockers and there is not alot of difference from year to year, mostly cosmetics. I am currently working on building one from the ground up because most of the parts from any autococker will work. (All you need is a Body, Valve, hammer, springs, bolt, frame, backblock, and pump arm)

CCM also makes excellent pumps that a nice. Just rocking them is enough to recock them.

There are several guns that use the name Tac-one and yes one is an Automag. but like all Automags can be a little finicky about upkeep and are not good starter guns.

Hmm Sniper 2 eh? I just want a nice good pump that I can keep for awhile hehe. Price doesn't really matter to me. So I should get a phantom? Or are there better pump out there and if there is may you name some of them please?
