The Minion is Evils version of the Proto Matrix 6, from 2006; it will shoot as smooth as any current matrix, but it will be heavier, slightly less efficient, have less features, and if it's still the stock board, slower. I personally would just get a PM6 as they're worth the same, and I dislike how Minions work.

The Pimp is essentially a really nice Impulse, meaning it's based on even older technology (I believe the Impulse line was replaced by the Ion in 2003). It will be more efficient than the Minion, but in every other way it is inferior (weight, maintenence, etc.). I wouldn't bother with a Pimp, not a fan.

DarkTamer pretty much summed it up. Also the Pimp isn't made anymore while the Minion is so the minion will be easyer to get help with.

Only why I can see anyone getting a pimp is if they were a hard core Imp fan from back in the day...

Actually I forgot, there is a 2007 Minion I believe, based of the Proto Matrix 07. If you're talking about that one... well, all the same things I said apply, it's just lighter, smaller and the stock board comes with some other modes besides just semi-automatic (which is all the Minion/PM6 offers). The milling between the PM7 and Minion is not quite so drastic, I wouldn't mind either.
