i like the ion because EVERYONE has it so obviously it must be good..

but in my reading i kinda like the Promaster.

can anyone who has used the promaster tell me whether they liked it or not?

P.S. i know promaster does not come with asa

i hate to be rude but this has been hashed out in many threads many times on this forum. A search would certainly turn up plenty of good results and I don't want to re-type points I've made a hundred times.

imo just because everyone has it doesn't mean it's good, but it is a god starter gun. it all depends on your preference between the two guns.

well... i did search. and i have to say. both sides did a very good job of making their point. i still don't know which one to get. all i wanted is someone who has owned the gun. to tell me if they liked it compared to other guns used.

if you searched and saw what we had to say, go with what you feel is best. see if you can use either one or both to shoot with a bit and go from there.

Couple of problems with your first post: ICD made the promaster, the promaster usually comes with an asa now becuase its used, and the ion isn't good.

i got it new at action village. it would be cool if it did come with an asa but there wasn't an asa in the picture.

mmm strange, i could have sworn actionvillage sold out of the promaster a long time ago..... If it's brand new, then it probbly dosn't have an ASA.

hardly any icd guns came with asa's. i personaly hate anything icd(except the fs because i havent shot one yet) because i have yet too see one actually shooting. a guy i know bought 3 promasters for him n his team and all of them went down within a months tGme
