I wasn't endorsing the PMR, I was saying it is the same gun as my Epiphany.

No, it's not, the Epiphany is much better than the PMR, whats wrong with you?! :P
Quite honestly, if they both shoot the same, and one has a plastic grip frame, then I'd pick the full metal one. Durability is always a nice thing to have.

Oh the fram isn't an isue with the PMR, it's the backcap9It strips and leaks after awhile). I have used one in a tourney and everything, shot just like my epiphany.

So does a glock I believe. There must be something good about those things what with so many police departments using them.

Lack of weight is also nice to have.
I'd suggest the PMR or F8, or possibly a Mini.

meh, this is paintball, people's lives arent (usually) on the lines.
I'm sure the Glock people have made their guns to higher standards, and they don't have as much weight on the grip frame, so cops sliding and such won't have as much force on the grip.
But I'm just biased. The PMR is still a good gun, I just like the Epiphany better.

you can upgrade the frame and trigger to metal ones. i'll look up the F8, and how accurate are these guns? I want accuracy over speed, I really only need enough speed to walk it comfortably and easily, which I know I could do with an epiphany or PMR. I'd definetly up the PMRs trigger and frame...I hope thats not expensive...I talked to my freind about autocockers and the lower priced ones are bad, the higher priced ones are good but I cant afford it, and there are no mid-priced ones I can find (please send me links if you find something)

oooooh F8 is a fusion. same problems as before: too much money, an while I could get the q-loader on, it would have a large gap between the barrel and q-loader that would annoy me as well as leave about no room for my hands. Epiphany is lookin pretty good...any recomended upgrades? something to make it my own? anybody find any mid-range not-sucking autocockers? Thanks for the help, I think I'm near the end of my search, but I'm always open to hear more suggestions.

For the epiphnay, a full freak barrel insert kit or a new barrel kit, 360 qev and another if it can handle the pressure, clamping feedneck, possibly new trigger, new ASA, BOB body

all the complains about the PMRs plastic w/e's can be fixed with some upgrades...but the epiphany is cheaper and apparently shoots the same...and I wouldnt have to buy those mods...and the all metal-ness would be nice coming from a tippmann, I would like a good sense that what I'm holding wont shatter. even if the PMR is strong with the plastic, it may not FEEL strong. I'm liking the epiphany...though I still dont want to pass up that chance of a mid range autococker if there is one thats any good...

since i'm new to electronic markers, please explain what something is and why I'd want it. what's an ASA? a BOB body? why would i need a new clamping feedneck? and as for barrels i'm good, those are simple, and I'd get a stiffi if/when i replace the stock one

The UL frame is apparently a bit expensive, so even if the PMR has a plastic frame thats strong and durable, I'd still personally go with the Epiphany.
As for midrange autocockers, might want to check the nation. They have everything >.>
for your q's
Air Source Adaptor, the thing you screw your tank into. Might want to invest on one that bleeds
Bolt Out Back body, they help with the matinence thing a WHOLE lot
The stock feedneck (if I'm not mistaken) is the o-ring friction fit type. Clamping feednecks are just everall seen as better

meh, Q-loader doesnt put much stress on the neck so i think i'm good there. i didnt know you could change the body itself, i thought that had to be just how the gun was made. that cant be cheap, mind posting links? and can i get any more information on the ASA? what makes one better than another? whats wrong witht the stock one? BOB would be nice if its possible, thats why i was considering the ion xe earlier til i found the epiphany

the cockers i've seen (black magic and karni) don't get anything close to th ego my freind has or my quest. I guess thats what I've been comparing it to...
EOS!!! you can't be serious...
Go mini or 07 fusion. If you hell bent on using a q-loader, I would seriously look for an auto-mag. Their on ebay.

Whats wrong with teh EOS?
So what if it's a bit overpriced now? No more magnesium alloy frame, it's all aluminum, and it looks wayyyyyyy better then the Epiphany.
Just wait for a bit of a price drop, and the EOS will be amazing.

ok, if the price drops... Its ok. But it's overpriced right now. Still, it's made by smarts parts. So I still say no.

I hate smart parts with a passion, but there low end guns are quality, plain and simple. It is all about price, the Epiphany is BNIB(Brand New In Box) at 200 bucks, and it shoots exactly the same as The PMR that is 40-50 bucks more. As for the UL frame it is pointless, expensive(jsut as much as the marker), and upgrades NOTHING but the board, which you could buy for CHEAPER(not to mention it is heavier then the stock frame).
