ION or PM06
Hi
What would you chose for woodsball (and why) if the price was roughly te same?
1) New: Smart Parts ION, 47ci 3000psi aluminium air bottle, Halo TSA Electronic Hopper
2) Secondhand: Proto Matrix 06 (very good condition), MacDev 68ci 45000psi air bottle, Halo B with rip drive
Also..how hard (and expensive) is the maintenence of the PM06

PM6. Both are spoolers, get pretty unremarkable efficiency. PM6 only has semi-auto (if stock board), but for woodsball that's fine. The PM6 is more rugged than the Ion, and IMO better looking. Either one will do fine though if you take care of it.

this is not even a contest. the PM6 blows the ion away in all categories. And it's made by DYE, who have, arguably the best customer support in all of paintball.

PM6 for sure! No comparision!! Technically the Ion isn't even a true spooler eaither! So don't say that.

Technically, it's a spool valve that is unbalanced instead of balanced, but it's still a spooler.

Pm6 no contest. The tank and hopper alone should have you set on it. Not to mention its a damn nice gun.
