PM7. It will shoot smoother. It is a spooler and the F8 is a blowforward type gun.

The F8 is not a blow-forward, a blow-forward design is what the Ion, Freestyle, and I believe Mag uses. The F8 is a FASOR design.
I'd chalk this choice up to personal preference, they're both good guns. The F8 will be more efficient and lighter, the PM7 will be smoother and quieter.

If you go by that, then every gun can be called a blow-forward, since many shoot very similar. The fusion isn't a blow-anywhere type gun. It's fully ram controlled with spring assistance. About as non blow-forward as you can get, other than full-on rammers. And from my knowledge, there has never been a poppit-based blow forward, they're all spool-valve based.

PM7, it will be smaller, lighter, smoother, quieter, more accurate bolt design. All the F8 has is efficiency and ease of maintenance on it.

And weight, it's noticeably lighter than the PM7.

You sure? I held a pm7 and I'd be damned if it didn't weigh little to nothing.

I was going to say, the F8 is substanually lighter than the old fusion, and about the same as the PM7. where probbly talking about onces here. Less than noticable.
It's pretty much personal prefference here. I'd personally go with the PM7, But that just me. Toxic dosn't know what he's talking about. Blow-forward? Honestly have you even SEEN a fusion let alone shot one?

PM7 is a little over 2lbs, F8 is right under 2lbs, I think. Either way, I definitely noticed a difference between the two..

Yes I own one. Kaz. I would take my old dm4 over it. And im sure a pm7 is better than that.
To clarify what I meant earlier. When I break down the gun types to people around here(where I live its mostly young kids who don't know much or are not interested enough to want to know a lot), I break it down to 3 types of markers. 1)Blowforward(not sure why I called it that, should of just said open bolt) 2)spoolers. 3)closed bolt.
Because, from my experience markers like the fusion, ego's, bushy's, timmys are all similar in shooting. So I put them all in the first category. Whether or not they are the same technical operation or not, they are all very similar. Light weight, good efficiency, etc...
The second obviously is for spoolers only. They all have similar features also. Possibly slightly heavier, smoother shooting, etc...
Then closed bolt for cockers. Yea.
So I break them down in those categorys for simplicity for myself and others I am trying to figure out what gun to go for. So sorry for not knowing what I am talking about.
And Kaz, keep trying. You may eventually get to me.

I really appreciate all your guys help. And by smoother do you guys mean less breaks in the gun or better trigger or possibly neither. And I forgot to say to compare without the UL frame. If you already didnt.

Well yes, it will be a bit gentler on the balls as it runs at a lower pressure. What we (or at least I was) were referring to was how it will have less kick and be a bit more consistent shot-to-shot.
