Either/or...SP1 is faster, 98 is more durable, but either is going to be pretty close to the same.

Ok thanks but have you seen the video on the sp1 about effiency. Its pretty impresive. Also the its pretty durable. They put it under a river for like 30 seconds and it still shot. Tippmans are also really durable. I have one. But I was thinkin this would be a step up from my tippman in woods? Maybe not but just looking around.

i have heard a lot about that video, im not gunna believe it though, smart parts made it, its an ad, they are trying to sell thier product, if you look at the design of it theres nothing to waterproof the circit board, so chances are they had done something to the one they throw in a river to waterproof the electronics. the machanical side of it may be able to handle it, if i had one id still keep mine out of the river reguarless if what they SAY it can do, remember sp also SAYS that marker can do 17bps, realisticly the software can do 17, but mechanically its limited to about 13, you have to upgrade it to get it to do 17.

im not saying they are bad, i love my impulse although outdated, but im just not going to be so willing to trust something that is from the company themselves, thier motivation is to sell products so they will have a motivation to twist the truth in order to do that, i would be more willing to trust something that a 3rd party puts out,if someone made a video like that who had no assosiation to sp and wasnt like diehard sp fan they would have no motivation to lie. maybe ill look around on youtube tonight and see if anyone else has tried to replicate that, if i find anything ill let you know.

Personally I am sick of people that give smart parts **** because they sued a couple companies, so what? If you were trying to sell your guns wouldn't you do all possible? But anyway I would say SP-1 because it is faster and soon enough the black heart board will be out and I believe it, along with the vibe will be as fast as their other guns with black heart. Also the SP-1 is internally the same as the ion (except the board) so you can get any bolts or QEV's.
