Narrowed it down to 4 markers around $200.00

to replace my all black original spyder compact, which bounces back and forth from working half decent to can't shoot straight, breaks balls all time, leaks, can't shoot more than like once per second, etc.
-Spyder RS
-Proto SLG
-WGP MG 7
-WGP Synergy Equalizer
If feel I missed something better for around $200.00, please suggest it. I canceled out the A5 because of no break beam and new squishy hopper paddles which indicate that it's prone to breaking balls in the hopper.

I also need a nitro tank recommendation for using no more than a case per day. Don't know much about the carbon wrapped vs less-expensive aluminum or other types but will most likely but the more expensive one if it's preferred.
Do I need an expansion chamber with nitro?
Please suggest a less-expensive hopper too if it's not very preferred to get the more expensive one.

Thank you.

I've never used an MG-7, but I've read some REALLY good things about them. Therefore I'll say:

Mg-7
SLG
RS
Synergy

If you're on a tight budget, go with a 48/3000 tank for $50. If you're playing at fields that have all day air, you'll be fine with that.

Viewloader Eye Force. $60, 20 bps force feed with eyes. All you'll ever need. Anything more is just to look fancy, bragging rights, or overkill.

Break beam eyes aren't needed on the A5 because the cyclone only feeds one ball at a time so it is nearly impossible to load a ball wrong. Oh and it's a mechanical marker. The cyclone does tend to mash fragile paint especially at higher speeds.

I'm going to agree with tlmiller on the MG-7 from all the reviews it seems to be a solid marker but I've never personally used one. I've tried out the SLG and it is nice enough but I'm not a fan of spool valves.

Expansion chambers are only for CO2.

Carbon fibre tanks are better in every way but price than the metal ones if you can get a 68/4500 filled you should be able to shoot an entire case on one fill. The Viewloader Eye force is a good hopper I bought one but I find it to be too bulky but for the price you can't find a new hopper any better.

Does the low operating pressure (150-200 psi) mean that if I crank up the velocity, the balls will shoot innacurate, break, etc? Or, is it the opposite and the low psi is better when the velocity is turned up like to 350 or whatever? Or does it not ever matter at all?

A low operating pressure generally means more shots per fill, quieter operation and can also result in less paintballs breaking in your marker when you shoot. Your velocity should NEVER be set above 300fps that is the maximum velocity allowed for safely shooting another person with a paintball marker. In fact a lower velocity will tend to improve your accuracy most markers get better results from 260-280fps range than they do at the 300+fps mark anyway.
