Spyder Xtra vs Spyder TL-X
Which gun is better, and why? I'm looking for my first gun and i have it narrowed down to two. The Spyder Xtra, and the Spyder TL-X. I'm leaning towards buying the Xtra, but please tell me anything you think I should know before my purchase.

they're both the same thing, but just look different. Get whichever you want.

I highly suggest you save up and buy a VS1, it will be a better starter marker.

+1. VS1 far superior to either of those, and not that much more.

Still moddable with my mods too
Unfortunately, since it's moddable with my mods, it indicates that the VS1 does not untilize the Balance Valve
The VS1 will be just as clanky and rattly as the Spyder Xtra and Spyder TL-X.
Good thing my mods can fix that >.<

The new xtra have a delrin bolt, is lighter and shorter than the TL-X. I had a TL-X in 2004 and that marker never let me down, in thoses times, the TL-X and the Xtra were nearly identical. But now, with new Xtra models (which include stock delrin bolt and new body), the Xtra can be considered as a better marker.
That said, with only few bucks more you can get a VS1, which is better than the Xtra. It adds an e-grip and anti-chop eyes. Your paintball experience will be alot more satisfying with thoses things.
You have the money, you get the choices. Don't forget to save for a good mask, if you can't see, you can't shoot.

Ah, didn't know that the price of the VS1 was so similer.
I agree that the VS1 would do much MUCH better
