MR2.
the VS3 is overpriced and overyhpyed due to the rocking trigger frame that does nothing. the 98 pales in comparison to either.
Also check out the VS1 or VS2

Get the VS2, forget the VS3. and TLmiller is fully right. Besides we weren't even talking about soldered wires so that argument was completely irrelevant Kaz.

Agreed with the previous 2 posts. Any electro spyder will be superior to a Tippman unless it's egripped, and then it costs WAY more than the spyder. Definitely agree with Martix about the VS3, forget the fact that it even EXISTS. It's s completely worthless gimmik they charge $100 for and gives you absolutely no advantage.
VS1 can use co2, if you require that, don't go for the VS2 as it's highly recommended to avoid co2 on the VS2.

thanks guys, this info is great. The vs model spiders are nice but i jusy cant seem to get away from the ability to modify the Tippman A5 and the MR model spiders. I would more than likely be playing woodland ball more than anything, that being noted do you think a "tougher, heavier duty gun" would be a good idea? I live on the gulf coast south of houston and it gets very humid and very wet down here. I dont not care so much for a super fast gun I rely more on "that one shot" technique when i hunt for animals and apply the same tactic to paintballing. Now what do you think would be a finalized "personal" choice for my requirments?
VS model?
MR model?
A5?
other suggestions?
Thanks so much guys I know Im asking alot of questions but i want to be sure I get the right gun for me.

A-5 for sure, You sound like a senerio guy so go with that. You'll look silly with a Vs spyder playing only senerio.

an A-5? are you dense? the 98c is EASILY a better choice than the A-5.
kaz have you ever played in a scenario game? there's a plethora of markers and player styles there.

I'd take an MR2 over the A-5 or 98. That said, you pay for the "military" look, and it's just that, a look. They're no more effective, no faster, no tougher than their non-military look counterpart. Which is why we recommend the VS1, it's the same thing as the MR2 under the skin, but cheaper since it doesn't have all the fancy whatnots on it to make it look like a real weapon. But if you really want something that has that military look, sp-1.

SP-1 would be perfect for you. Function of an ion/epiphany/EOS in the Mil-sim body.
