Spyder RS vs VS2

I'm a new player looking to get into paintball. I'm undecided on which marker to get. Both Co2 and HPA are readily available in my area, I just cant decide between the two. Would cost about the same for either marker due to the high price of HPA markers.

Apreciate any help on my decision.

Thanks.

VS2 shouldn't have co2 ran in it, only HPA. It runs at 200 psi compared to the RS's 300 psi. Personally, I shoot semi only so I don't care about modes, so can't say. I know the RS doesn't have any tourney modes, but not sure about the VS2. If using co2 isn't a factor, then I'd go with whichever I could get cheaper.

I know I need to use HPA on the VS2. With a tank(co2 20oz), mask, and hopper the RS would cost me about $270 where the VS2 about $240 with 48ci/3000psi tank. Basically wondering which would be the better buy as far as marker quality. I'm willing to pay the extra $30 if the RS is the better of the two.

Thanks.

Other than the valve and (I assume, it could be the same though)the board, they're the same marker. The Valve on the VS2 is better. Quality will be identical.

Thanks for the help

I decided to get the VS2 over the RS mainly because if I decide to upgrade in the future, I will already have an HPA tank and dont need to worry about getting a marker that does not work with Co2.

The VS2 shoot a bit smoother because of lower pressure. The regulator needs more cares, but if done correctly, it is a great marker.

In the case that you had to use Co2, the RS had be a better choice.

Check in my sig : I put alot of information about the VS2.
