Dangerous Power G3 vs F8

Looking into maybe buying a new marker for under $500, just wondering which of these two would be a better choice?

G3 IMO. But it's personal preference. I like how small the G3 is, and I like how spoolies shoot.

Well they seem very similar to me? So am i missing something? I guess i just dont understand why DP would make 2 different markers that performed almost alike? Are there any advantages spec. wise that either has over the other?

The more I use my G3, the less I like it.

I may not like it much, but I still prefer it to a Fusion. It's not that it's actually a bad gun in any way. It's just that for the money, it's WAY not worth it. PMR shoots better, Mini shoots better, both cheaper. Both close to as easy to do maintenance. Just like for the money, the Fusion isn't worth it IMO. But between the 2, I'd definitely get the G3. For the price I paid, I'm not unhappy about my purchase. Had I paid retail, I'd be fuming.

I'm thinking about getting the magnetic trigger conversion from ebay though, that should eliminate a LOT of my problems with the G3, since most of them come down to I HATE the feel of the spring on the trigger. It feels mushy and vague, and makes it difficult for me to shoot quickly. I think magnetic return would drastically improve my speed since I actually like the design of the trigger itself.

I'm not saying the Fusions bad. And the original fusion is now a decent price, and I've considered picking one up. Was ready to buy one the other day in fact. However comparing the F8...Wrath + clamping neck + on/off = several hundred less than an F8. Amount that an F8 shoots better than a wrath with that: 0.0000%. Better efficiency from an F8: MAYBE 2-3%. Why's it so overpriced? Not Infinity Legend level overpriced, sure, but overpriced nevertheless.

As an aside, the magnetic trigger conversion is ordered and on it's way. So next time I play I'll pull out the G3 to see if this conversion helped my opinion of it (my moneys on it helping a lot).

i actually prefer a fusion to the etek and the pmr shooting all of them and playing with all of them. Along with my friend who went from a pmr to a etek to a fusion. But i guess it depends on the person. But the etek and the pmr are in the same price range as fusions.

I much preferred my PMR to the Fusion and the etek(god those things are cannons) I shot, just as fast and smoother. PM6>all others though.

EDIT:L I'd take the G3>fusion

I won't disagree with Fusion over Etek. I'd definitely take a Fusion over an Etek any day. But a lot has to do with my personal bias against Planet Eclipse guns. Only company I can't be mostly unbiased towards, I simply hate their stuff (don't confuse that with hating a company, I don't hate PE, I just can't stand their guns).

yeah, and they had great Cockers. It's simply since they stopped being a PL manufacturer and started being an OEM that I've developed a distaste for their howitze...err...markers.

I loved those eclipse cockers, and the e2 frame was an excellent thing they made.

PM's shoot just as smooth as a DM, the main difference is looks and the LPR placement(The LPR's are the EXACT ones, just placed different). Plus when a Proto is UL'd it's lighter then that years model of DM's, and smaller to boot(I am not sure of the 05's though)
