Okay, I've been looking for a mid-high end marker for some time. I came really close to purchasing a WGP SR autococker but after getting a chance to use one the other weekend, I've changed my mind about owning an autococker. I've been looking at three different markers for the last two weeks.

1. The Angel 1. That thing is super sexy. I havent had a chance to hold one or even see one up close but from the pictures I've seen..its a beauty.
2. Dangerous Power G-3. I've gotten to hold this marker and I have to admit, I could really see myself enjoying it. Its amazing how light it is and it fits well.
3. Etek Ego. I really love the looks of this marker. Also, I've found a nice place to get a package including HPA and hopper for around $650.00.

Well I know the G-3 would save me alot of money but I also dont want to look back in the coming months and think "Wow, why didnt I go ahead and buy marker X when I had the chance"? I really like the Angel 1 but I was wondering if its really worth the money. I dont want to regret my next marker purchase like I did with my paintball blender a.k.a. my Invert Mini. I want a gun that I'll be able to use in the coming years without having to upgrade constantly. I simply dont know enough about WDP as a company. I'm not sure about the Etek either. I love the look but I've never had a chance to hold or fire one as of yet. I'd love to hear your opinions on these three guns or even another suggestion since my mind isnt entirely made up. Thanks in advance

If you didn't like the Mini you definitely shouldn't get the G3 since the Mini is like 10x better than the G3 for less money. Etek you can get a Bob Long Protoge cheaper and it's better other than being a bit heavier. Angel 1 is fine as long as you have a lp tank.

And please, don't skimp on your HPA tank either, bite the bullet and invest in a 4500 psi tank, you'll be happier in the long run.

Your blender Mini might have been a first generation, which was known to have a lot of bad apples, the new Mini has apparently fixed the problems.

Out of those, I would take the A1. I have owned an ego and now an A1. But I would probably wait a few weeks to buy one. The word is the A1 fly will be released very soon. So that would drop the price of them. Add the Magno internals and you should have an amazing gun for a good price. I bought my A1 about 3 months ago for $350 used. So if you buy used you can get a good price on them.

The LP tank thing is iffy. Some angels make you need a LP tank, and some will let you use a HP. Depends on your luck I guess. But a MP tank will work fine, but LP is suggested.


*Just want to point out, the only gun I would take over my A1 would be a droid, newer dm/pm.*

Also depends on the mods on the reg. ANY angel reg can be modified to run off hp air. I've just heard some people say that it's not very consistent when modified to do so.

My stock G7 and my A1 both could use HP. But other people couldn't. Kinda weird.


But what didn't you like about the Autococker SR sniper?

for the prices you are looking at you might as well get a used dm6 or pm7. you are deffinatly looking at the higher end markers.
