DM7 overpriced, and I hate having to buy the Continuous Flow plug for it, that's why I rate it where I do. PM8 IMO better looking, has the Hyper3, and can be found very inexpensively (for those you listed).
Marq's are awesome. A GREAT compromise between the efficiency of a stacked poppet and the smoothness of a spool. With the Proficiency engine, gets VERY nearly Ego level efficiency.
Vice is pretty much on par with an Ego8 other than weight, definitely better than the Ego7 despite being pretty much the same price.
1 that I'll throw in is the Angel 1. GREAT marker, with Magno internals shoots nearly as smooth as a spool, but gets efficiency like Egos. I would put this actually right after the PM8.
i voted pm8, but between it and the dm7 its a close call in my book. really i think it would depend on what price you can fine each for but i went dm6 over pm7, so its really up to you

The Ego7 IS an Ego 8 but cheaper. They are so close to the samething it's rediculous, you'd be better off buying an 07 and upgrading it. I havn't actually gotten my hands on a vice, but the Protege is nice. shoots alot like an ego (when you think about it, it should. Ego did steal the Timmy design and change it a little). Assuming the Vice is a little nicer than the Protege I'll put it equal to the ego7.
The only reason I put the DM7 in front of the PM8 is because I can not stand the way the PM8 looks. That hole in marker just looks bad. Other than that I think of them as pretty much the same.
The reason I put the Marq last is because i'm not a fan of the smashed poppet valve markers. The bolt assemble is complicated and you don't really gain anything over an intimidator. Slightly smoother maybe, but I'd raither shoot a true popppet or a true spool.

You know, it's funny. I've never heard ANYONE say they think the PM8 is "ok" looking. Everyone is either "I love it", or "I hate it". Obviously, I'm in the "I love it" group. I was considering a used DM7 or a new Oil Slick PM7 when the PM8 came out...as soon as I saw it, I stopped considering either of the matrices. Although I did at a later date go back and get a used Oil slick PM7.
