I own several spyder barrels, and a few HPA tanks. Now Im looking to upgrade my gun. Im choosing a spyder due to my past history with them, and I have several barrels for it.
I can't decide between a RSX or Electra 08. So any thoughts on these 2 spyders, and which way I should go?

As far as i know the RSX is a VS2 with a tadao board. Save yourself some money (about $70) and get the VS2. The electra is nice, very small, not as light as one would've hoped but shoots alright and has the duality of CO2 and air. The RSX is alright too, also fast, not so light and shoots as any other spyder would. Since you already have HPA and want to stick to a spyder, you should look into the better spyders, i highly suggest the VS2 over the RSX.
Having said that, i'll ask why stick to a spyder? I've stuck with spyders and the like since i started paintball over a decade ago. I'm getting killed out there. I'm considering moving onto better and faster markers.

I have a few spyder aftermarket barrels(including a new lapco apex barrel), as well as some other stuff so to me it makes sense to stick with them. Now I heard the RSX is a VS2, but they corrected/upgraded all the flaws in it. Of course thats all the info I found via the net.

that said you have no barrels worth keeping, go find somehting else

i vote you ditch the apex, go get a J&J ceramic at $30, they are the best buget barrel on the market, beyond those you have to get into $70+ barrels and gennerally barrel kits

I already have a J&J and a few others. Like I said I have a few different spyder threaded barrels lying around..thats why I went with a spyder.

apex is a joke. you get no greater range from it and if you want to sit there and fiddle with the arc in a game that moves this fast then be my guest, but when you have to shoot at a few different people having them curve may work for one person but chances are its going to harm your chances of hitting the other

He doesn't just have the Apex it's the Lapco Apex which means it is a Lapco Bigshot barrel that can accept the Apex system. J&J is a nice budget barrel but Lapco has been a premium name for a long time for a good reason their quality is second to none.
doesnt matter that its a lapco, you put that apex on the end of it and its trash. i could put the apex on the end of my DW and it wouldnt matter that i have a perfect paint to bore match, the apex would throw it out at an angle if i had it set

The difference is that when you get sick of the Apex you can take it off and still have a great barrel. The regular Apex on its own is a gimmick attached to a barrel so bad that it makes the stock Tippmann barrel look great.
