I was aiming for a 200 dollar budget buy now i upped it by 100 dollars and am willing to pay 300. I looked at the G3 yet am unsure about how good it is. Any other suggestions?

No good. I've seen a pm7 go for less than 300 and its tons better.
Slightly up'ed pmr's are also better/cheaper.
