i have 400 bucks to spend on gun, tank, and hopper. This will be my very first paintball marker and i was wondering which is better for the price. Should i spend the extra 100 dollars for the slg, or should i settle for the vs2??

it's not that you're "settling" for the vs2.

They're both nearly the exact same thing, except the spyder is cheaper. To me, the VS2 is a much better option.

so basically everyone views that the vs2 is just as good if not better than the slg?? i would think the slg shoots much smoother and quieter since its slightly newer.

No we are saying the vs2 is better for the money. In all fairness the slg will shoot better and will have a better board but is twice to $$$. Does the slight performance justify the cost? Up to you. We think no.

With the right upgrades, a VS2 will shoot just as good as the SLG and still be cheaper
