First Gun Order

Hi everyone this is my first post. For my birthday coming soon I'm thinking about getting a paintball gun. I was looking online and I found these. I'm an old airsofter and am used to guns being accurate. Thats why I'm switching the barrel. Tell me if all of this is good. My field limit is 260 FPS by the way.

Tippmann 16 Inch Sniper Paintball Barrel
Kingman Spyder 2009 Sonix Paintball Marker Value Pack
JT Monster Ball Paintballs 1000ct
I also want these but I don't have anywhere to put them.
4 Pack - 140ct Paintball Tubes

Please help me. Thanks.

All of that is good. But the barrel isn't for that gun. Look for "Kingman" barrels, not tippmann.

ok first off, paintballs are not accurate, sorry to tell you this but some of the best groupings at maximum range are the size of trash can lids. (thats BEST case)

lets see, thats a decent starting marker, just make sure to get some good goggles with it if you are going to get them at the same time (anything except the JT entry level ones on that list of ones you can get with the marker. id recomend getting a 20 oz co2 for starters. for a barrel on the cheap you cant beat a J&J ceramic, at $30 they are one of the best values in paintball. 12-16" your choice, dont go larger than 16 though. monsterball is some of the WORST paint out there, if you are going to get it do NOT go play against someone with it, monsterball is known for having a thick shell and hurting people. so if you do get it use it for target practice only

Indeed
As an occasional airsofter myself, I know that you may think that longer barrels for paintball help with accuracy, but sadly, it does not.

All you can do for accuracy is get a good paint/barrel match and shoot high quality paint, those will be the biggest factors you face for accuracy besides using a regulated marker

Proto Switch EL Woodland Camo Goggle

VL 200 Round Hopper

J & J Ceramic Paintball Barrel - 14 inch

Pure Energy Aluminum CO2 Tank

CORE Action Paintballs - 2000rd case

Tell me if it's good.

Yes!

Might want to look into a VL Eye-Force or an Invert Too loader though
Will last you your entire paintball career without needing to be replaced

I know that the Vents Helix mask is like $25 and has a thermal lense
I use it in the woods since it's hard all around

I know that the Proto goggles are getting pretty good, I wouldn't mind rocking one of those, though no where did I see where it said it used a thermal lense

If you're really worried about accuracy, buy GOOD PAINTBALLS it will make a world of difference. Monster balls are horrible at best.

Stay away from the pod holders that use belts they don't stop the pods from shaking and bouncing and they tend to move your pants towards the ground. Spend a little bit extra for something like this a good harness will last you years.

I have the helix, and it is a great mask. It has yet to fog, comes with a thermal lense and one time i even got a bounce off the lense. The invert too is also a great loader, it even keeps up with my friends alien independence. And if you are looking into pod belts go proto because they are almost an exact replica of dye just cheaper.

in my opinion spyder is junk and its pointless to buy things new anymore. websites like here and pbnation.com and pbreview.com have all kinds of great used items for sale. i would buy a used vibe or ion for $70-100 from someone who has great feedback. or buy a tippmann 98 or A5 if ur only gonna be playin scenario. everyone may dog on tippmanns but they really are like the most realiable and durable gun to use in scenario.(u can get a used A5 with e-grip for $100) also if ur field has a nitro fill station then buy a steel nitrogen tank, this will help with accuracy and help eliminate the fluctuation compared to co2. also the best pack to get is NXE. they are the most comfortable packs in my opinion and u can find a used one in like new condition for $25. and everything else on ur list sounds good for starting out.

you know i have heard multiple people make this claim but i have yet to find it, even with the 98, i did a pretty extensive search a while back and the best price i found on a 98 with e-grip was $200, and it was not in very good condition so unless there is some magical website that sells them that i have not been able to find this price is a hoax, and considering you can get a NEW spyder with e-frame for $150, they are both blowbacks, so why does tippmann charge so much more?

scientists are still working on that answer...

Because too many people are brainwashed into thinking Tippmanns are worth it.

there is a guy selling an A5 with e grip for $100 on pbnation. tippmanns are just a more durable gun than spyders are in my opinion. spyders are a short term gun, then they start to leak and fall apart. im not a fan of tippmann either but i think they are a lil step up from a spyder, plus u can beat em up pretty bad and they still work like new. but like i said before go buy a used gun from a realiable person with great feedback and ur set.
