Dye Proto 09 SLG vs ProMaster

Ok, those who answer my questions(s) earlier are either going to lol or sigh :P

Well, I was ready to call up my friend on to make an offer on his ProMaster and air tank for $180.

After just browsing the interweb, I stumbled across the Dye Proto 09 SLG. Looking on some Canadian sites, it's listed around $250. Is this gun better, or worth the extra cash ? I would also need to buy an air tank, costing more money.

Also, I prefer woodsball, although we do have a nice speedball field, which is better for each ?

Recommendations, comments, anything ?

The SLG is a low end sear-tripping blow forward. The Promaster is a significantly higher performance marker. The SLG is the most overpriced marker in the low and mid-level tiers of paintball. It performs slightly superior to an e-spyder, but costs significantly more. Things like the $150 Smart Parts Vibe are better than the $200 SLG. It's a horrible value, and not that incredible of a marker.

Agreed
The best sear tripper for the price right now is the EW-1

I'd stick with the Promaster if I were you

Oh, I would have thought, considering the price of the SLG, it would be superior to the promaster. Instead, I would be spending more money for a marker thats not even as good.

Thanks for the heads up !
