I put a post on Craigslist for my DM and a guy got back to me saying he wants to trade his etek 3 plus cash for my dm9. How much cash do you think in should ask for that would be fair for both me and him?

I think the dm9 is a all around better gun but if i had to do a price prolly etek plus 200

If it's an LT, +150 is about right. It should be much less if it's an AM.

Is the etek 3 LT a pretty good gun? I know it isn't a pro gun like my DM but will it be decent?

Yeah. They're actually EXTREMELY similar in design to the Ego9 internally, using the body of essentially the Ego8. They can take some of the latest updates for the Egos (Cure 3+, zick2). There are OLED boards made for the stock or AM frames, but the frames don't bend as easily as those on a normal Ego ("safety feature"). IMO, I'd rather an Etek3 than an Ego in most respects.

So the guy said he is willing to trade me his Etek 3 LT with hush bolt plus $200 for my limited edition Dye DM9. Would you guys trade or just keep the DM9?

If i had a chance to trade away a dye for an etek, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I've had nothing but bad experiences with any dye/proto marker.

Whereas I'm very much a fan of spools, and love my DM9, and wouldn't even consider the trade for a millisecond.

How much cash is fair for my limited edition DM9? If the guy were to buy it, no trade? And with the money what would you buy?

350-500 depending on the condition and how much the guy wants it
Possibly up to 550 since its a le but that imo is kinda pushing it
A guy on my practice team bought a dm8 not to long ago for 350 so the prices seem right

I personally wouldn't pay more than $450 for it, but I'm sure that there are people out there who might pay more...

So the guy with the etek dropped out but a guy with a g6r came instead. So I think im gonna trade my DM for that and add some money. How much money should I add? And if I buy the g6r will I need to change anything with my standard ninja tank?

1. Is it a 2011 G6R or 2012 G6R (2012 G6R has OLED board)?
2. You will need to make sure it's set up for low pressure output. If already set that way, you won't need to do anything else.

The gun is a 2011 with:
Pillow bolt, stock bolt,
Virtue OLED board
4C eyes
Pressure tester
Lp poppet and stock
Original box

And I know for a fact my ninja is not low pressure. How much cash should I add? And would it be worth it to get a violent Deuce trigger?

DM9's are going for $400-$500. G6R's are going for $550-$700. With the upgrades he has and the pressure tester figure his is worth around $720, yours assuming it's not got many/any upgrades and is in better than average physical condition we'll assume $450. So a FAIR trade would be to add $270.

IMO, that trigger is a downgrade. However, your mileage may vary.
