What does macroless mean? I have seen this a lot?
I found a Proton on ebay for 250 used, good deal?

macroless means that the gun is internally plumbed so that the air goes directly through the marker, and not through the macroline to a regulator. Click the link in my signature about all my markers, notice the line on the second marker that goes from the bottom line to the regulator? That's macroline. NOtice on the first marker posted it's not there? That's a macroless marker (the Rogue+ to be exact).

Hey guys been doing some digging and many people say guns have been freezing and getting cold when low on air? Is this bad for the gun? Also some problems with bolt and trigger if u decided to mess with the trigger but there are easy fixes for those two problems

you could freeze it if you're using co2. use hpa and you're fine

It should be fine as far as i know the proton/aura has been out long enough for the problems if any to be solved and i think it will do fine

you also have to realize that a lot of people overuse the term "freezing" chances are a lot of the problems are not freezing or co2 related even but people just assume that if the marker shuts down it must be a freezing issue
