So, I've never bought a marker before in my life, and i was doubting about buyin a DM4 as my first gun. But some of you told me that was not a smart ID. I keept looking and I found this spyder for sale for € 375,00. Should I buy it or are there better guns to start with?
P.S.: Can I equip that spyder with a Halo B(that's the best hopper right?), Kevlar high-pressured N tank(Is that the best tank?). Btw, what are the best barrels to buy and what kind of paintballs are used with them?
P.S.2: If I will buy a DM4 after I've played with that spyder for 6 months, will I be able than to equip that tank and hopper with that as well?

Yeah, it's a good idea. I wouldn't start off with an electric first. Most people get a tippmann98c for their first gun. It's an excellent gun for a newb for a couple reasons. Coming stock it's a beginners, low end gun. If you fork out the money and buy a tippmann upgrade magazine, you will find endless upgrades, barrels, triggers, stocks, r/t kits, f/a kits. I know it's a single trigger and the pull is a little heavy, but it's a good beginner gun.

I myself bought an m3 fuel but the only reason I'm not upgradin is because I have to get a car. The m3 fuel is okay, fairly light trigger pull, no chopped balls, double trigger.

But if you have your heart set on a spyder, I'd reccomend a regular semi auto. Then, when you are used to cleaning and maintaing your gun properly and you are a better player, get a trigger upgrade which most places who sell spyder parts sells. You need to get a halo or richochet or a fast loader though if you want to get an electro. Don't get q loader. That's a bull crap product.

Well the elctronic sear trippers really arent a bad idea to start with. It's not as though they're really any more complicated than the mechs... They just release the sear in a different manner.

You might get some funny looks running a Halo B on a Spyder. It may be strong enough to push balls past the detent, since the Spyders are open bolt, which would not be a good thing. I've never seen anyone shooting a HaloB on a Spyder... Could anyone that has please post? =P

Yeah, you might want to instead get CO2 and a 12V revi and invest a little more money into the gun. You don't necessarily need the best Nitro and best hopper if you're shooting a spyder that's capped at 14bps.

but you can use it on your next gun. i got an egg with my spyder, and I'm using it now. i'm glad i bought it. If i had had the money I would have bought a halo.

I really enjoy my spyders. I love them so much. Outlaner has a pretty sweet electra. i wouldent go semi because the pull is to hard to get used to. 13bps is just right. Not to high not to low. Although I would like to shoot ridiculously fast

I'd say start off with an e-Spyder and eventually work your way up. If you want to save money and know definitely that you're going to get the fastest loader and most efficient air system, then invest in it. Money doesn't seem to much of an issue for you but buying these items instead of getting a gravity hopper and a CO2 tank would just save you the trouble.

I did suggest that you begin with a lower-end gun so you can get the gist of how paintball guns work. Although it'd be nice to start with the DM4, the ease of the Spyder will just let you realize the more important part of paintballing: fun.

The DM4 requires a little more technical savvy to strip and put together while the Spyder is a piece of cake.
