I'm just getting into paintballing. I've played a couple of times with my friends and now I'm looking to buy one. But I'd want an good one for my first gun.
I would like it to be fast, pretty accurate, semi-auto, and just about never chops. What would be a gun good for that? I was reading up on Piranha Pro Ts with Mako Storm and it sounds pretty good but I can't get a price on it. I'm looking to spend maybe $350 also.

The general sense is that if you're starting out, start out with a Tippman 98 Custom or Spyder Imagine. Just about everyone in these forums are going to tell you this. They are great beginner guns and won't run you too much into ground as far as money goes. xpaintball.com has the Spyder Imagine as well as the Tippman 98 Custom.
To solve/prevent your chop problem, I'd suggest an Empire Reloader with SAB (sound activated board) or better yet, a ViewLoader eVLution II.
I'm assuming you're going CO2 so I'd suggest getting your tank anti-syphoned. Also it wouldn't hurt to get a regulator or barrel. Which one you get is totally up to you.
Well I hope I helped. Good luck in your search.

Actually if you want a fast semi auto that almost never chops, and you have $350... I'd recommend a Dragun TES. They run about 189.00 at xpaintball.com and are very fast. They also kind of resemble Intimidators. They are equipped with an anti-chop eye as well.

normally i would recommend a bko,but after owning two i find them to chop alot (w/out PDS) and to often break down (even when you take care of it).
i would recommend the Dragun T.E.S.
it comes with an anti-chop eye and is pretty fast. the marker runs around $250 or so check out www.xpaintball.biz for it. also the gun is fairly accurate, but get a new bolt and barrel and it will be fine.

A good, reliable begginers gun would be a Tippman 98 Custom. They are one of the most reliable guns out there. They rarely ever chop.

He said fast though... 98cs are not fast markers...And one of the reasons they dont chop much is because theyre not fast enough...:P
Go with the TES... When you look for it wont say Dragun TES it will say "Tactical Electronic Sniper"

Definatly the T.E.S. Didnt know they had an eye? A aftermarket regulator would be good. Along with a Egg hopper. The egg hopper feeds 17bps and the gun is capped at I belive 15bps so you wont chop due to misfeeds. That runs 70$ plus the gun thats 260$ ish. From there maybe a aftermarket barrell or a regulator for 50$. Then a mask. Jt Nvader, thermal to so it wont fog on ya . If you went with the regulator a palmers stabilizer would be good or if you went with the barrell any smart parts barrell I reccomend.

Hey man, I'd go with the Tippmann Custom 98. Sure it's not "real" fast but with a double trigger or a response trigger(he's got the money to spend) it can be fast and it never chops when used with decent paint. I've put at least 5,000 balls through mine and chopped maybe once. It's so reliable.

Thanks all, I't all helped. I think I'd go with the Dragun T.E.S. Sounds pretty decent. ANd thanks KingFikiElectra for the little tips. Now I can go blow my money and be out on the field in short time.

Rofl it's ok moose just quit it till' u get ur imagine back .
Also the TES is a very good gun. The one kit isn't really needed to begin with but it does make it freakin awsome. Just a little faster and sexier looks.

I would suggest getting a 2k4 cocker. I think they cost $360.
